OX Documents
8.52.0
SCR-1779
Summary: Hazelcast removed the CP Subsystem from the Community Edition, OX Documents switched to a different mechanism to manage distributed state
Hazelcast removed the feature called CP Subsystem from the Community Edition starting with version 5.5.0. See the following blog by Hazelcast regarding the removal: https://hazelcast.com/blog/changes-to-community-edition/
The CP Subsystem was used by OX Documents to manage distributed state. With the removal of this feature, we had to switch to a different mechanism. Running a single Hazelcast cluster during a rolling update — with old and new versions coexisting — is not possible. Due to the separation of the Hazelcast cluster instances, issues may arise. In case you encounter problems with OX Documents, e.g. some documents cannot be loaded after the rolling update, please try to run a final rolling restart of the core-mw nodes to resolve the problems.
