Progressive Web App
A progressive web app is a web page the browser agrees to treat like an installed application: its own icon on the home screen or desktop, its own window without browser chrome, and a launch that goes straight to the account. Nothing comes from an app store, so nothing has to be approved or updated on the device. What this looks like on a phone is shown under On a phone.
It's important to note that as of the current documentation, Firefox does not fully support Progressive Web Apps, and users may experience various limitations when utilizing our application on this browser.
