Docker Setup

Creating a docker image

You can use gradle to build the docker image: ./gradlew buildImage

Starting the docker image

To start the docker image use: docker run -it -p 80:8080 <ImgageId>

If you want to mount e.g. filters use the v flag: -v /filterpath/filter/<yourFilter>:/appsuite-proxy/filters/endpoint/<yourFilter>

You can also configurate the proxy server with enVars, the properties which can be used as such have an enVar flag, e.g. : -e PROXY_TLS_ENABLED = true

Test Setup

You can also use a fully configurated docker test setup containing the proxy and two backends. Just start and stop them with: ./gradlew createDockerTestSetup and `./gradlew removeDockerTestSetup.

The config is stored under the jenkins-pipeline folder.

Debug logging

If you want to change your global log level in a docker container setup there is the possibility to set it on container startup. Use the environment variable GLOBAL_LOG_LEVEL=DEBUG to enable debug logging.
